Bollywood’s latest newcomer Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt, Bollywood Industry latest new face has her hands full. After delivering a super hit film, Student Of The Year, Alia now has two new movies up her sleeve.

By Thanks Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt will now be seen in 2 states. The movie is screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. Although Chetan was very incredulous about casting Alia Bhatt for the role, a photo shoot of Alia in the character sure him that Alia would nail the character.

It’s rumoured that “Chetan and Sajid were convinced from the outset that they’d cast a Punjabi actor and a South Indian actress to retain full authenticity in the plot. The original plan was to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. But when Arjun Kapoor stepped into the picture Deepika couldn’t be seen looking compatible with Arjun.”

Since them couldn’t maybe pair Deepika with Arjun, Karan Johar recommended Alia for the role. Well, as they say one man’s failure is another man’s gain and in this case it’s Deepika’s loss and Alia’s gain. Furthermore, when they started the photo shoot, Alia surprised everybody. Apparently nobody expected Alia do the role well with out a lot of hard work. But she showed everybody how determined she is towards her work. Now it’s only the accent that Alia will have to work slightly hard on. Let’s expect all goes well for Alia Bhatt!
